Website & Service Terms
The terms for using this website, and a plain-English summary of how the subscription works. The signed Subscription Service Agreement is the contract.
Version 1.0 · Effective 1 January 2026
Note
This page was drafted from the Master Pricing Reference and the Subscription Service Agreement rather than transcribed from a single controlled document. [[PLACEHOLDER: Cameron to review and approve before launch]], and to add a link to the full Subscription Service Agreement PDF in section 5.
In plain English
This page covers two things: the terms on which you use this website, and a plain-English summary of the terms on which we provide the service. The summary is not the contract — the signed Subscription Service Agreement is, and if the two ever disagree, the Agreement wins.
1. About these terms
This website is operated by Roof Guard Queensland Pty Ltd, ABN 27 599 310 226, a QBCC-licensed roofing contractor (licence 67936) operating in South East Queensland.
By using this website you agree to the terms on this page. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
2. Website content
- We take care to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is free of errors or omissions.
- Prices shown are current at the time of publication, include GST, and apply to standard pitched-roof homes within our service area. Larger or specialty roofs are quoted individually.
- Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance. A subscription begins only when a Subscription Service Agreement is signed by both parties.
- The plan recommender is a guide based on the answers you give. It is not a professional assessment of your roof, and it does not replace an inspection.
- The sample inspection report is a fictional document prepared to show the format of our reports. It is not a record of a real inspection at a real property.
3. Insurance — what we do and do not say
We provide roof maintenance and produce professional documentation of that maintenance. That documentation may be useful to you in dealing with an insurer.
We do not promise, represent or warrant any insurance outcome. Whether a claim is accepted, reduced or declined is a decision made by your insurer, based on your policy and the facts of the event, and it is entirely outside our control. Any statement on this site about insurance describes what documentation is, not what it will achieve.
We are not insurance brokers or advisers and nothing on this site is financial or insurance advice.
4. Intellectual property
- All content on this site — text, design, layout, report templates and photographs — is owned by Roof Guard Queensland Pty Ltd unless otherwise marked.
- Inspection reports we produce for you are yours to keep, use, and provide to your insurer, a buyer, a property manager or anyone else you choose.
- You may not reproduce our site content, report templates or branding for commercial purposes without written permission.
5. Service terms — the short version
The full terms are in the Subscription Service Agreement you sign. This is the summary.
| What you get | Scheduled roof inspections at the frequency of your tier, timestamped photographic documentation, a signed condition report after every visit, and a maintenance record held on your behalf. Minor maintenance is included on Guardian and Prestige. |
|---|---|
| Initial Condition Assessment | $249 one-off, every tier. Invoiced within 24 hours of signing and payable before the inspector attends. |
| Billing | Monthly in advance by direct debit, on the same day each month. All prices include GST. |
| Failed debit | Inspections pause until it is resolved. A second failure within 30 days is a formal default notice. |
| Minimum term | 12 months from sign-up, then month to month. |
| Notice to cancel | 30 days in writing after the minimum term. 14 days within it, with an early-termination fee — see the Cancellation & Refund Policy. |
| Price increases | A maximum of one in any 12-month period, with at least 30 days' written notice. |
| Access | You must provide safe access to the roof and the property. If a site is unsafe on the day, we document why and reschedule. |
| Out of scope | Major repairs, restoration, replacement, internal water damage, solar servicing and emergency call-outs are not included. See how it works. |
| Insurance we hold | $20M public liability. Professional indemnity held. QBCC licence 67936. |

6. Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. Nothing on this page or in our Agreement limits those guarantees. Where we are permitted to limit our liability, we limit it to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.
7. Privacy
How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy. This website does not use cookies and does not run third-party marketing trackers.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
